The new M3+ comes standard with 64-128 MB Ram and 64 MB built in flash. The Flash memory is expandable up to 512 MB as an option. The M3+ also has a SD slot for memory expansions that provides the user, Handheld said, with enough memory even for the most demanding application.
The integrated high quality laser scanner can easily read all common barcodes. The transflective colour display is touch screen and the ergonomic keypad is backlit and easy to use in tough environments. The M3+ comes with a slim detachable Lithium Polymer battery.
With GSM and Edge the M3+ offers flexible voice and data communication. It offers full mobile phone functionality and has an integrated Bluetooth, 802.11b/g WLAN, which makes it “easy” to exchange data and synchronise with other devices. The built in 1.3 Mega pixel camera is both user friendly and takes “high quality” pictures.
M3+ is built on the Windows CE.Net 5.0 operating system with a powerful Intel X-scale PXA 270 520 MHz processor. Handheld said: “With real-time processing, faster performance, rich multimedia and Web browsing capabilities, your enterprise can become truly mobile.”
The design and IP64-rated sealing ensures protection against dust, moisture and extreme temperatures, from a freezing -20 degrees C up to a hot 50 degrees C.
