Dutch GH dealer Kraanservice van den Broek has supplied 33 cranes to the excavator production facility of Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe in Amsterdam. In the factory itself, the crane builder supplied 30: one with lifting capacity of 20t, 13 with 10t capacity, and 16 with 5t capacity. All are 20m span and run along a total of eight gantries. Lifting height is 10m. Akapp-Stemmann supplied its Click-Ductor conductor bar systems for crane power. The conductor systems consisted of four conductors of 80A. In the facility’s training centre van den Broek supplied one 2t crane and two 5t cranes, powered by four 50A Click-Ductor conductor rails. ‘We have selected this system based on the speed and simplicity of installation and the fact that a quick exchange during calamities is possible,’ said van den Broek’s sales manager Gerjan de Winter.
