Until the end of the year, Hoffmann Födertechnik is launching 23 models to complete the rollout of its Star Liftket hoist range. This range of 13 machines, whose first models came to market last summer in capacities of 125 kg to 1,000 kg with two falls of rope, has a new gear and clutch-brake design and is designed to not require service.
New are a 2.5t model, three 2t models, a 1.6t model, two 1.25t models, five 1t models, an 800kg model, a 630kg model, five 500kg models, and more. In addition to the increase in lifting capacity, many of the newer models are heavier duty class machines. For example, three of the new 500kg models are FEM duty cycle 3m, and two are 2m.
The company continues to sell its older brand, Liftket, in capacities up to 12,200 kg. ‘The well known Liftket range will remain in production for a long time unless most of our customers will fully switch over to the new hoist line,’ says managing director Mattias Hühn.
Last summer the German manufacturer also moved to a new factory in Wurzen.
