The Hurricane hoist line offers lifting capability from half to 10 US tons (500 to 10,000kg) and a standard lift from 8 to 20ft (2.4 to 6m) and can be used in a broad range of industrial, construction and commercial applications.
The Hurricane line carries a five-year warranty and is available through CM’s network of standard stocking hand chain and full line independent hoist distributors.
The Hurricane’s brake is designed with fewer moving parts which “increases its efficiency and useful life while reducing maintenance,” said CM. Its unique hand-wheel cover rotates 360 degrees for hoist operation in any direction, making it ideal for special rigging applications.
CM added: “The stamped steel construction of the Hurricane helps ensure its ruggedness and long life. Also featured is the standard load limiter for simple, automatic overload protection.”
