Igus has redesigned its energy chain cable carrier for heavy duty applications. The E4/4 Energy Chain is thicker and beefier than previous versions. ‘Because of the reinforced stoppers, the heavy duty chain deals with even higher load reserves without sagging. This especially applies to heavy loads, such as hydraulic and water hoses, or motor cables with large cross-sections,’ said Harald Nehring of Igus. The new version allows users to guide loads of up to 30kg, or more with centre straps. The new chain’s geometry quietens the chain carrier travel.
