Following its introduction at Bauma, Munich, Germany, earlier this year, Ikusi’s I-syon remote control units will soon be introduced to the North American market.
Meanwhile, the firm is renewing its TM70 range to bring it into line with new market requirements. For instance, the new desk incorporates an LCD70 display unit that permits feedback from the receiver and allows alarm signals to be displayed, “so users have more information on movements and therefore greater safety,” it added.
The TM70 range of remote control units has also passed tests conducted by two major manufacturers of hydraulic machinery and has obtained ATEX approval, according to Ikusi, “which means that these units can be used in areas where the atmosphere is potentially explosive.”
