DavyMarkham restarted its apprenticeship programme two years ago, and it has now been approved under IMechE’s Engineering Technician Development Scheme. This makes all DavyMarkham apprentices affiliate members of IMechE, and after completion of three- or four-year apprenticeships, they will be eligible to apply for Engineering Technician status, and use the letters EngTech MIMechE after their names.
