Its pneumatic balancer was launched in 1959 by Zimmerman, which was taken over by Ingersoll Rand, and has since undergone a number of developments that have improved lifting/lowering speed, load capacity and reliability.
Ingersoll Rand said the pneumatic balancer has proved its worth to customers over the years, with “various areas of activity [realizing] that they could improve their productivity and the comfort of their operators at reasonable cost”.
Ingersoll Rand added it is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its pneumatic balancer with a promotion on balancer and jib crane packages, and balancer and handling am packages until the end of June.
