A spokesperson for JD Neuhaus said, “environmentally conscious management has been a fundamental component of the corporate policy at JD Neuhaus”, and that this vein runs from design and manufacturer through to decommissioning and recycling of its products.
ISO 14001 was awarded to JD Neuhaus after TÜV Rheinland assessed its environmental management system. JD Neuhaus already has IS0 9001 accreditation from TÜV Rheinland for its quality management system.
“JD Neuhaus production facilities have been adapted to minimise energy consumption, emissions, sewage and waste,” the spokesperson said. “Environmentally friendly production processes and materials are also employed.”
The spokesperson added self-lubricating motors, minimal air consumption and reduced sound pressure levels are other elements that help make its products greener.
