Konecranes Service Corporation will make a permanent employee reduction of 26 at most as a result, alongside some temporary layoffs, which can be made up until 31 May, 2011.
The extent of the temporary layoffs will depend on the company’s workload. The permanent and temporary layoffs will affect all personnel groups, Konecranes said.
In June 2009, it was announced that 10 permanent staff would be lost at Konecranes Service Corporation. A number of statutory negotiations have also been undertaken at other Konecranes divisions in Finland in recent months.
