Päiväniemi has a broad experience in the field of international investor relations. She joins Konecranes from Glitnir Asset Management Ltd. Prior to this, Päiväniemi was business development manager for the investment management business line at Glitnir Bank.
Her previous positions include investor relations manager at FIM Group and Rautaruukki. She also worked as investment analyst at Opstock Securities.
Päiväniemi will report to Mikael Wegmüller, director, marketing and communications.
Current IR manager Paul Lönnfors, (45), B.Sc.(Econ.), has decided to continue his post-graduate education.
