The report said the firm has been chosen for other work at the new mine that is expected to cost $400 million, including the underground infrastructure.
The companies that vied for the contract were reviewed on safety performance, quality of work and expenditures.
The completion date is expected to be in the first quarter of 2008, in time for a new production hoist in April. The building will be situated west of the Number Two shaft beside the headframe.
