Liebherr-Werk Nenzing, manufacturer of mobile harbour cranes, offshore cranes, ship cranes and crawler cranes, has put its weight behind the European debut of the World Class Crane Management Seminar.

The event is being held 27-29 May 2002 in the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel, Netherlands.

The Austrian company has agreed to sponsor the event to help establish it as the lifting conference of the year. Liebherr technical manager Walter Länge has also joined the distinguished panel of speakers already lined up to present papers at the three-day event.

Also added to the list of speakers announced last month are: Rafael Mira, technical manager of Spanish wire rope manufacturer Tycsa; and Ivar Horst, managing director of the Swedish company Piab Force Measurement, who will address the issue of ‘why loads fall’.

The World Class Crane Management Seminar is supported by Crane Partner International and the magazines Hoist and Cranes Today.
