As part of construction work for the Liverpool 2 terminal, Operator Peel Ports said it will require installation of ship-to-shore quay cranes and modern cantilever rail mounted gantry cranes for the in-river terminal. These will be procured following the appointment of the main contractor in September.
The job is currently out to tender with construction due to start in 2013 and completion scheduled for 2015.
