MTN Industrial has announced it now offers CM Alloy Shackles, manufactured by Columbus McKinnon.
The shackles boast a 5:1 design factor, offering a strength rating 50% higher than comparable carbon shackles and 25% stronger than super strong shackles. Ideal for side loading and multiple connections.
With a history spanning over 40 years, MTN has extensive experience manufacturing and maintaining industrial components as well as offering heavy-duty material handling equipment since 1979. Its crane systems and lifting & hoisting products are available for a variety of sectors.
A spokesman for CMCO said: “We know that American-made products are important to our customers. That’s why CM manufactures the majority of its chain and rigging attachments at our two Tennessee facilities. We also manufacture many of our hoists here in America as well.
“Dating back to 1933, the Buy American Act requires end products for supplies or construction material to be manufactured domestically. For a product to comply with this Act, it is required that more than half the cost of its components is derived from U.S.-made components.
“CM is proud to comply with the Buy American Act and is happy to supply a Certificate of Compliance upon request.”
