Speedy, which offers a range of lifting equipment as part of its product portfolio, said My Speedy is a secure internet-based system that allows customers access to real-time data related to equipment on hire.

This includes the quantity of equipment, the location, the hire rate, the scheduled off hire date and the dispatch depot, and provides customers with access to important business reports, Speedy said. Reports can be saved, printed or exported as an Excel, CSV or PDF file.

My Speedy users are also able to view their hire history, manage loss and damage transactions, and print or download copies of previously issued invoices.

All customers can access the account management system with just one log-in and password to view their current hire package. Searches can be performed by customer order number, Speedy contract number, product code or by individual asset number.

The My Speedy site is customisable to the users needs, and offers filter and sorting options. The site also includes a library of health and safety documentation, environmental information, a branch locator, links to Speedy’s product catalogue and an area for storing useful documents.

Martin Knott, managing director of business and customer excellence at Speedy, said: “This next generation extranet has been developed to empower our customers, helping them drive out inefficiencies and streamline their invoicing process.

“As we continue to expand our services, we wanted to give customers a fast, intuitive and simple platform for assessing and reporting their increasingly complex asset hire requirements, as well as providing a resource of information on legislation and regulatory issues that affect their businesses.”
