New announcements at Irizar Forge

Irizar Forge has completed a hattrick of announcements, launching a redesigned website, welcoming Arrate Urquia, as quality manager and establishing a new Irizar Forge R&D department.

The company’s website is now live, available in both English and Spanish. The site represents a new look to its dedication to evolve and innovate in the industry. It has a clean, modern design to improved the online experience and includes news about its recent 100 year anniversary to its latest forged innovations for lifting and mooring operations.  

Urquia brings a wealth of expertise as an industrial organization engineer, with a background in quality and management. She arrives at the company as Jon Arizmendi steps into the role of supply chain manager, after three years working in the Quality Department.

Finally, with the addition of Urquia, Irizar Forge has a new R&D department, led by Inigo Ugarte, who has 20 years of experience in the industry. The team now comprises engineers, product & project managers, alongside quality experts and product trainers. The company also recently obtained the ISO 50001 certification.



“Over the years Irizar Forge has taken serious steps towards sustainability. The ISO 50001 certification shows that Irizar Forge is compliant with an energy management system and focuses strongly on energy efficiency. Irizar Forge thrives to continuously improve and optimize business processes to operate as efficiently as possible and this certification is a testament to that commitment,” a spokesman said.

With this recent addition, Irizar Forge now holds four ISO certifications, showcasing its dedication to excellence in various aspects of its operations.
