Its static stepless simulation software is designed for use on traverse motion applications, providing an effective means to slow or stop the motion of the bridge or trolley in a cab-controlled crane. It replaces expensive, traditional static stepless controls with state-of-the-art, cost-effective digital controls.
“Unlike traditional static stepless controls, this software eliminates current spikes,” Kureck said, “so there is less mechanical torque and stress on the drive train, and an operator is able to quickly and smoothly start or change direction.”
