China-based crane supplier Xinxiang Nucleon Crane has announced the export of six LD single girder overhead cranes to Yemen in January this year.
Nucleon’s engineering team will be on-site to ensure an effective installation process.
The company has designed the LD type single girder overhead cranes with a capacity of five tons, a span length of 16.5m, and a lifting height of 6m.
The cranes operate under a work duty of A5 and are powered by a 380V/50Hz/3Ph source, and they are controlled remotely, offering flexibility and ease of use.
Nucleon completed the project, from initial consultation to delivery, within two months.
Nucleon, in a LinkedIn post, said: “We are excited to announce the successful export of 6 sets of HD Single Girder Overhead Cranes to Yemen in January 2025.
“Our team of engineers will be on-site to oversee the installation process, ensuring a seamless and efficient setup.
“The entire project, from initial consultation to delivery, was completed in just 2 months. We are deeply grateful for the trust and recognition from our valued customer and look forward to future collaborations!”
The LD type single girder electric overhead crane is a lightweight lifting solution that features a high-strength structure.
It is often used with CD1 and MD1 electric hoists, supporting lifting capacities from one to thirty-two tons and spans from 7.5 to 31.5m.
The crane’s working class ranges from A3 to A4, indicating its frequency and strength in hoisting tasks.
It offers two control modes, ground remote control and operator room control, catering to different operational needs.
According to the company, the LD electric overhead travelling crane features a simple structure, lower energy consumption, and a space-saving design.
The crane operates on rails and comprises a trolley running mechanism, a main girder, and a wire rope or chain hoist.
Its design allows for various configurations, including hanging, semi-seated, and seated types, according to user requirements
The crane reduces manufacturing and operating costs while improving site usage.
The LD overhead travelling cranes are widely used in steel mills, warehouses, workshops, and material warehouses for lifting and handling tasks.
