Weighing 6kg, the silverline chain hoist has been designed with what Pfaff-silberblau called “robustness and long service life in mind.” The load is lifted and lowered using the chain, while the pressure of the load itself holds it “securely and safely.” Priced at £80, the smallest and newest member of the range is designed to appeal to industrial, commercial and craft users alike.
The £60, 300kg capacity ratchet lever hoist completes a range offering up to 6t capacity. Pfaff-silberbalu said: “It is compact with an enclosed gear unit, excellent braking characteristics and a short lever motion for ease of use.”
Managing director Paul Kelly added: “At Pfaff, our aim is to design and produce high-quality, robust products which are good value for money. We apply this to all our products and our core lifting range is no exception.” He continued: “Of course, you can buy cheaper products, but they don’t last as long and they lack the design elements our products feature as standard. It’s a false economy to buy cheaply – simple as that.”
Pfaff-silberblau Ltd was formed in 1983 as the UK subsidiary of Pfaff-silberblau GmbH of Derching, Germany.
