Judging from its latest sales, P&H/Morris continues to supply cranes for interesting jobs.

P&H has received its third order for a scrap steel handling crane. All three, from the same customer, service automobile shredding machines and require precise spotting. They are outfitted with 18t capacity P&H hoists; one has a 4.5t auxiliary hoist and cost about $350,000 each.

Morris has received an order for two refuse handling cranes. These continuous-duty CMAA class ‘F’ cranes feed incinerators with rubbish at a plant in the Eastern US. Total order value is about $750,000.

Two P&H cranes at a plant in Iowa will receive hoist speed upgrades and new festoon systems. Price: $300,000.

In June Morris in Eastern Canada completes the modernisation of a 27t crane at a steel plant in Ontario. The $122,000 project will include a new CJ trolley, bridge drives, variable frequency drives, festoon, wiring and remote control.
