Akerstroms is now launching two pushbutton radio remote control ranges, Remotus Jupiter and Remotus Mercury.
The Jupiter/Mercury 10 has 10, two-stage pushbuttons that enable double functions for each button. Jupiter meets requirements of most standard applications and uses the general frequency band.
The Jupiter/Mercury 9RS has nine two-stage pushbuttons and a rotary switch and can be programmed for up to 18 functions or commands in four positions. Mercury is intended for extremely demanding applications with special requirements such as individual frequencies and distinctive functions.
Both product lines can be used indoors and outdoors, are water- and dust-proof to IP65, and feature rubber bumpers. Lights on all buttons indicate the selected function.
Users can configure the transmitter via the receiver or with a computer, and can store that data on a configuration information model (CIM) card that can be moved to another transmitter.
Several models with varying numbers of pushbuttons are being launched
later this year, according to the company.
