RiConnect held its first UK based Digital Future seminar in Aberdeen, Scotland, last week, to demonstrate its digital innovations.

“Many thanks to all those who attended our first UK-based Digital Seminar in Aberdeen to demonstrate our digital innovations,” said Rob Whitehurst-Maiden, sales director and Leanne Whitehurst-Maiden, business development manager, RiConnect.

Also in attendance were RiConnect’s manufacturing partners who showcased their range of digital products: YOKE Industrial Corp, Tiger Lifting, The Safehold, Dynamic load Monitoring (DLM) UK, LEEA and NSL – Lifting Assurance, Intervention and Training.

“We would also like to thank our guest speakers Leanne Whitehurst-Maiden, Oliver Auston, Josh Tkachyk, Andy Charlesworth, Alexandre Beltrão and Ashley Turner Tech IOSH,” said Whitehurst-Maiden.

“The collaboration ensured this dynamic event tackled the key safety and sustainability issues for the future, moving together towards a digitalised lifting industry.”

A spokesman for Tiger lifting said: “As a manufacturing partner of RiConnect we are committed to tackling sustainability issues and moving forward together towards a digitalised lifting industry. “

Alexander White, sales, DLM, showcased the company’s tensile links embedded with RiConnect software and YOKE Industrial chips.

“By integrating RiConnect’s software and YOKE’s BlueSupra chips into our product range, we have enabled our customers to manage inspection programmes more effectively and instantly access crucial documentation, such as user manuals and calibration certificates,” he said.
