Saltuk Erdemli has been appointed as the General Manager of BVS Cranes, in Turkey.
The appointment, effective January 2025, marks Erdemli’s return to the role he held from 2010 to 2016, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to guide the company into its next phase of growth.
BVS Cranes has seen remarkable growth in recent years. The company made history in 2023 as Türkiye’s first and only crane manufacturer listed on Borsa Istanbul.
Operating from three factories in Ankara, BVS Cranes covers over 100,000 square meters of production space and employs more than 500 people, exporting to 93 countries across six continents.

It recently expanded its service facilities in Duisburg and Mannheim in Germany, Salzburg in Austria, Sisseln in Switzerland, and Chicago in the USA, to meet a growing demand for crane solutions and exceptional service worldwide.
Erdemli has over two decades of expertise in management, business strategy, and engineering. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Throughout his career, Erdemli has held senior leadership positions at Arlight Lighting (Swedish Capital) and Ereğli Shipyard, where he developed a strong track record in driving innovation and operational excellence.
