It has also launched what it says is the first flat webbing sling shortener. The unit winds webbing slings around a catch. Webbing slings are lighter and more malleable than chain slings, the company said, so are potentially attractive for use in slings. The shortener will make it easier to reduce the length of one of the legs in case of an uneven load.
Spanset has also launched a hook with flat opening for round and flat webbing slings.
