The Speedway Grand Prix Series is an international programme involving riders competing over four laps in less than a minute. The riders race 500cc single-geared motorbikes with no brakes.
The Grand Prix season starts on Saturday 28 April in Lonigo, Italy and finishes on Saturday 13 October in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The British Grand Prix takes place at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium on Saturday 30 June.
This is the third year that Speedy Hire has been associated with the Speedway Grand Prix. Group head of marketing Phil Prince said: “The sport continues to become more popular and this year’s series promises to be just as gripping and spectacular as the last.”
He added: “The sponsorship will allow us to reach an even bigger audience for Speedy as more people are converted to the sport through its exposure on Sky Sports and its showpiece British event at the Millennium Stadium.”
