SWF Krantechnik is promoting a version of its SK electric chain hoist with extra long chain for wind turbines and other applications which require extra high lifts of up to 100m.
The hoist can be fitted inside the turbine and used for lifting parts or tools from ground level up the column of the windmill to the top.
For this application, a specially large chain bag has been added. To take the extra weight of so much chain, the bag has its own trolley.
Two different load options are available: 250kg and 500kg. Buyers have the option of hook suspension or push trolley. Two different hoisting speeds are offered: 16m/min or 4m/min.
Voltage control is 48V. The heavy duty hoisting motor is designed for short term duty of 30 minutes.
