Tecsis’ F2226 force transducer enables testing accuracy to within 0.15% – 0.2%, dependent on the nominal forces being applied, and can be integrated directly into the line of force.
The cell is structured with two screws, or threaded pins, on either side of the cylinder of the stainless steel load cell. The IP67-rated transducer is made to withstand “extremely harsh industrial environments”, a Tecsis spokesperson said.
Besides testing benches for lifting equipment, the F2226 is also suitable for use with other special machinery and production lines.
In recent months Tecsis also released a thin transducer, which may be used for testing food packaging machines. It has previously introduced coin sized mini-transducers measuring forces up to 50 kN, explosion-proof transducers and pressure sensors specifically for mobile hydraulics.
