CMR has focused its activity on container handling, boat haulage and, in the industrial field, handling concrete beams or other large and heavy products.
The machines, developed for the shipbuilding and the yachting industries for boat haulage, are equipped with special isostating lifting systems. They have the ability to lift boats with special frames such as hydrofoils, barges and catamarans.
Trevolution managing director Mario Girelli said: “We started with an idea to go away from the crane business. Prim (and standard crane brand Marte) were only in the crane business. We wanted to enter into material handling in general, and did not want to use a name not so much linked to the crane business.”
