California-based Greer Company develops electronic load information systems and accessories for mobile equipment manufacturers. The transition to Jenks is expected to be complete by the end of the year.

DP Manufacturing produces a full complement of winches for the utility and towing and recovery industries, and the government. The transition to Tulsa Winch Group’s Jenks’ headquarters from its Tulsa location is expected to be complete by June 2008.

Tulsa Winch Group president Steve Oden said: “As a customer-focused business, Tulsa Winch is dedicated to creating synergies that bring added value to our products and our brands. By centralising the operations of DP Winch and Greer Company at our corporate headquarters, we can dramatically decrease our time-to-market, fully leverage our manufacturing capabilities, and respond quicker to market demand.”

As part of the consolidation effort, Tulsa Winch Group will add 168,000 sq ft of office and manufacturing space to its headquarters facility to house an additional 280 employees from DP Manufacturing and Greer Company. Ground breaking is scheduled to begin in early November.

Oden added: “We look forward to setting in motion this phase of Tulsa Winch Group’s strategic plan for strengthening our global growth through streamlined processes and enhanced capacity. These actions will allow us to maintain our industry-leading position.”

Tulsa Winch Group is comprised of four distinct companies that produce industry-specific winches and supporting electronic solutions. They include Tulsa Winch, Inc., dp Manufacturing, Inc., Greer Company, and Vancouver, B.C.-based Pullmaster Winch Corporation.

Tulsa Winch, DP Winch, Pullmaster and Greer are registered brands of Tulsa Winch Group. Tulsa Winch Group is a part of the Dover Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of diverse products and components for commercial and industrial use.
