Before, variable speed was reserved for the Eurochain VL 10 hoist, with a lifting range of 500 to 2,000kg, but it is now available throughout almost all of the range, except for the VL1 and VL2 models.
Verlinde said: “The no threshold speed variation guarantees an extremely accurate load positioning and increased flexibility when using.” It added that the speed of movement can be selected at will depending on the loading weight, the type of movement and the user’s experience. Thus, it continued, “lifting is safer and more accurate. A minimum speed of approximately 0.2 m/min (according to version) allows less experienced operators to handle loads without the risk of damage.”
