In some parts of the world the working week runs from Sunday to Thursday, while, all over the world, crane manufacturers often operate reduced shifts on weekends. Other visitors to the site prefer to log on at their leisure away from the time-pressured environments of the office or the job site.

Howes said: “Whether you’re working, travelling or just want to keep up to date with the latest developments in your own time, the enhanced seven days a week service will improve the online experience for current visitors and attract new ones, thus, improving the flow of information and the exposure of the brands who advertise with us.”

Hoist welcomed 5,486 users to its website during the month of March – more than in any previous one-month period – registering 44,323 impressions. A total of 34 news stories were posted live throughout the month. It was the third successive calendar month that the site has attracted more visitors than ever before.
