There are six spillway gates at the dam, with each gate utilising a total of 10 wire ropes, with five ropes on each side of the gate. This work also includes the fabrication and installation of new wire rope anchorages on the gates.
All removal and installation work shall be accomplished between November 1 2008 and March 3 2009.
